The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (WFM) to serve as a key administrative support within the Human Resources Department, focusing on maintaining the integrity of our timekeeping system including all reporting requirements. The successful applicant will provide customer service to all Ceridian users, acting as the primary point of contact for employees with questions regarding their time/pay. They will manage day-to-day support tickets, attend strategic Ceridian meetings, and oversee system upgrades and configuration, as well as perform a wide range of clerical duties requiring a high degree of confidentiality and technical precision.

 

This role is responsible for owning the time system, managing shift rotation changes, employee history stacks, secondary positions, and critical pay deadlines. The successful applicant will act as the lead educator for the platform, responsible for creating comprehensive training and conducting sessions for users, as well as overseeing year-end processes, generating bi-weekly and monthly reports, tracking employee leaves, and ensuring records remain fully compliant with all internal and external auditor requests.

The role is located in the vibrant community of Flin Flon, MB on a 5 days on/2 days off schedule.  Snow Lake, MB residents may also be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of 2 year college diploma in Business Administration, preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Ceridian systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Post-graduate degree from an accredited college or university (HR, LR, Social Sciences or Business) and education in human intercommunication and team-building, preferred
  • Excellent grammar, business letter and report writing skills
  • A clear and succinct communicator (verbal and written)
  • Conflict resolution skills, both internal and external
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, taking the initiative
