The Opportunity: 
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide excellent end-user support and ensure optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues, install software, manage desktop devices, and provide prompt, friendly service to internal customers. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide frontline technical support via phone, email, chat to troubleshoot desktop and application issues

- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, peripherals, and cloud-based applications

- Manage inventory of desktop computers, laptops, phones, printers and other devices

- Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, email, VPN access etc.

- Diagnose hardware and software problems and coordinate needed repairs

- Develop help sheets and knowledge base articles for end users

- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams and follow up to ensure resolution

- Make recommendations to improve desktop support processes and increase customer satisfaction


Qualifications & Competencies:

- 2+ years experience in end-user desktop support role

- Expert knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, iOS/Android mobile devices

- Understanding of DNS, Active Directory, Wi-Fi, imaging, scripting beneficial

- Customer service orientation with patience and empathy

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- A+ and/or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred
