Hudbay is a Canadian integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals. 

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Journeyman Welder for our Stall Mill in Snow Lake, MB. Also known as the Stall Concentrator, it is the veteran facility of the operations, located about 16 kms from underground Lalor Mine. Focusing on processing Lalor's zinc-rich and copper-rich massive sulfide ores using tradional flotation methods to produce zinc and copper concentrates.

Schedule:

• The successful candidate will work on a 7on/7off  (Thursdays-Wednesdays) dayshift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• To lay out, fabricate, assemble, erect, modify and repair tine and sheet metal work, structural, steel, pressure vessels, plate and duct work.
• Performs all kinds of welding, brazing and cutting on metals and alloys in maintenance

Qualifications:

• Must be a Red Seal Journeyperson 

Compensation Package:

•  $48.50/hr(Certified),$49.59(Duel Certified) plus weekend premiums
•  Profit sharing
